PGM - Mid Range HeadsMid Range - Rotary Heads

The economical, scaled-down rotor and spray alternative designed for mid-range areas at residential and commercial sites.

What if there was a sprinkler that offered all of the benefits of a rotor, but could be used in applications that called for a spray? Guess what, there is! The PGM is virtually a "two-thirds" version of the PGP, the world's top selling rotor. Hunter has scaled down the popular sprinkler exclusively for use in such applications. Unlike sprays, the PGM offers a convenience and efficiency that sprays do not - it's capable of working in tandem with larger rotors to combine big and small areas in a single zone. The end result is that fewer heads perform more efficient work for a more economical price. But, there's more. The PGM features a rack of six water-efficient nozzles, each of which can be easily identified by its flow rate and can be installed and changed in a snap. And, the rotor includes a radius adjustment feature that fine-tunes the spray to keep water off driveways, walks and other non-landscaped surfaces. For less trenching, fewer zones, less wasted water, choose the more economical alternative - PGM rotors.

Features & Benefits

  • Radius adjustment - allows fine tuning of spray, ensures positive nozzle retention.
  • 40 - 360 degree adjustable arc - easily adjustable from top of sprinkler, up, down, wet or dry.
  • Water-lubricated gear drive - time proven, reliable rotation, year after year.
  • Heavy-duty riser seal - stops wasteful excess flow.
  • Variable stator - keeps rotation speed consistent regardless of nozzle size or pressure.
  • Extra large filter screen - traps more debris without clogging.
  • Optional factory-installed drain check valve - prevents wet spots, caused by low head drainage.

Models

  • PGM-00 - Shrub
  • PGM-04 - 4" Pop-up (10 cm)
  • PGM-06 - 6" Pop-up (15 cm)
  • PGM-12 - 12" Pop-up (30 cm)

When your landscape has mid-range zones that are long and narrow, the obvious choice would be to install sprays. Yet, the intelligent choice would be to install rotors. But, not the obvious choice of rotor...those would be too big. The intelligent choice would be a rotor specifically designed to fit this kind of landscape. With the scaled-down-in-size PGM, you'll find that two rows of these rotors can do the same job as three rows of spray heads. But, because PGM rotors can run on the same zone as other rotary sprinklers, they'll require fewer valves and stations, and, in turn, less trenching, piping and labor. It all adds up to less installation time and lower installation costs (as well as lower watering costs) for you.
